Quill VPN ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by MYGIMON LLC. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. Our approach is simple: we collect as little as possible, and we do not require an account.
Quill VPN does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or give any personal identity information to use the app. You can use it anonymously.
Some information is stored locally on your device only, for your own use, and is never transmitted to us:

When the app launches, it makes a single request to a public IP information service to display your current public IP address in the app, so you can see at a glance whether the VPN is masking your real address. This information is shown to you in the app only. It is not stored on our servers and is not logged.
Quill VPN uses Android's built-in VPN service to route your network traffic through an encrypted tunnel (using Shadowsocks) to a server in the location you choose. This hides your real IP address from the websites and services you visit. You can disconnect at any time from the app or from your Android system VPN settings.
Quill VPN shows ads provided by Google AdMob between connection sessions and as optional rewarded videos. To serve these ads, Google AdMob may collect certain information such as your device's advertising identifier and approximate, non-precise location, in accordance with Google's own policies. Watching an optional rewarded ad can unlock premium access for a limited time. There is no subscription, no payment, and no account required.

The app requests the VPN permission required by Android to establish the secure tunnel. It may request notification permission to alert you about your connection status. These permissions are used only for the features described above.
Quill VPN is not directed at children and is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
